The study on patient requests and counselling of myasthenia gravis patients was carried out in collaboration with the patient organization German Myasthenia Association (DMG) and Charité. The systematic evaluation of 1,711 anonymous email inquiries from patients and doctors was published in the journal BMC Neurology at the end of 2022.
The study examined request categories and differences between DMG and Charité to better understand patients' unmet needs. The results show that the DMG is highly trusted, but care and support for myasthenia patients needs to be optimized.
