The publication "Burden of Disease in Myasthenia Gravis: Taking the Patient’s Perspective" receives the QUEST Patient & Stakeholder Engagement Award. The study examined the disease burden on patients with myasthenia gravis. The patient organization German Myasthenia Society was actively involved in the study design to ensure that the questions asked were relevant to the patients. They also supported the recruitment of participants, and the results were published in the members' magazine "DMG-Aktuell". The award-winning publication appeared in the Journal of Neurology in 2021 (DOI: 10.1007/s00415-021-10891-1).
